Prior to launching By Clarissa, she served on the executive leadership team at an award-winning marketing agency, in which she was tasked with expanding operations from the ground up in preparation for an acquisition.

As a freelance writer and editor-at-large, Clarissa gained invaluable experience by working with some of the largest international media companies. Her reporting took her around the world, contributing thousands of reported pieces for print and digital titles.
